Working with Thread, from Past to Present

Revisit local traditions during this activity featuring yarn work – from the transformation of wool to the creation of handmade items.

From the 17th to the 20th century, most women mastered techniques such as spinning, dyeing, felting, weaving, knitting, and crocheting. Today, there is a renewed interest in these crafts which have become hobbies.

Take advantage of this opportunity to attend demonstrations of old and more recent skills, and talk with artisans who are passionate about their craft. Participate in the hands-on workshop to help create a collective work.

This is a not-to-be-missed event for both beginners and experts!

The programme includes:

  • Demonstration of old and new techniques
  • Hands-on workshop
  • Creation of a collective work
  • Guided tour From the Cellar to the Attic
  • Digital tour of the site’s attractions and the house
