Maison Saint-Gabriel is offering a family activity to discover history all the while having fun.
Guided tour Winter in New France for families
Your children will discover daily life in New France and see how the settlers adapted to winter. How did we keep warm without electricity? What did we eat when there was nothing growing? How did we get around without a car? Your guide in costume has the answers to all your questions.
Handling of objects, games and challenges await you in this new guided tour!
Duration: 55 minutes. Offered from February 25 to March 5, Wednesday to Sunday, at 1 p.m. in French and at 2 p.m. in English.
"On the Tracks of Hazel the Squirrel" new outdoor game
Go in search of clues scattered on our historic site to discover what the squirrels living at Maison Saint-Gabriel keep in their reserves. Perhaps you will come across a few along the way. Small reward for children who find the mystery word!
What: Autonomous outdoor game.
Duration: approximately 15 minutes. Offered from February 25 to March 5, Wednesday to Sunday, during the opening hours of the Museum. Pick up your game sheet at the Museum's reception.

From February 25 to March 4, tickets for accompanied children (aged 0–17) are free of charge. Special offer applicable for a maximum of two children per adult. Tickets for additional visitors aged 6–17: $5 each.
Maison Saint-Gabriel participates in the free admission program for museums on the first Sunday of the month. Therefore, the tour of the Museum is free for everyone on Sunday, March 5.
